OEBKC Registration Information
Hello,
My name is Leigh Potter. I am excited and honored to have been asked to step in as Registrar of the O.E.B.K.C. My involvement with the breed has until now been simply that of an admirer who was interested in its history. This is a wonderful, versatile breed with many great people working very hard to bring it the attention it deserves.
Although I am not a breeder, I do not take this responsibility lightly. I understand the importance of the registry to this club and the breed, and look forward to helping advance both in my role as Registrar. I’m sure I will be communicating with many of you in the coming months and assure you that my first priority is to meet the needs of the club members in a fast, efficient manner.
Sincerely,
Leigh Potter
Litter Registration (Click to go to the form)
Puppy Certificates will be issued for all puppies in a Litter once the required paperwork for the litter (these requirements are also found on the Litter Registration Form) has been submitted with a photo of the litter. The litter photo(s) should be taken after 4 weeks of age and it must clearly display the tails of all puppies in the litter. Questions regarding registration should be directed to the Registrar, Leigh Potter. The certificates will be used to identify each individual puppy when registering it as an adult, and to transfer ownership of the puppy when and if sold. The Litter Registration fee is $20. Please note: The Sire and Dam must be O.E.B.K.C. registered in order to register their litter.
Certificates of Registration will be issued for dogs once the required paperwork has been submitted, the dog has reached 11 months of age, and a picture of the dog clearly displaying the dogs tail has been sent to the Registrar (these requirements are also found on the Single Dog Registration Form). This certificate establishes a Registration Number for the dog which will be used for identification throughout its life. Certificates include a 3 Generation Pedigree. Registration fee is $10 for dogs under the age of 13 months. After 13 months of age the registration fee is $15. Please note: The OEBKC reserves the right to deny a breeding certificate for any dog whose tail does not conform to the breed standard, regardless of the dogs’ tail status as a pup.
A Certificate of Registration will be issued for dogs once the requirements described above have been reviewed and approved. A 3 Generation Pedigree must be provided with verification of the dog’s lineage (see the Single Dog Registration Form for space to fill in the 3 Generation Pedigree). Registration fee for dogs without a Puppy Certificate is $15. Please note: Dogs being submitted for registration without a puppy certificate MUST be traceable to the original Olde English Bulldogge foundation without any UNAPPROVED outcrosses. The OEBKC reserves the right to approve any and all pedigrees of dogs applying for registration, or to request further information such as additional generations, deemed necessary to protect the integrity of it's registry.
Dogs deemed non-breedable may be issued Certificates of Registration with a Registration Number that reflects the dogs’ non-breedable status. Please use the Single Dog Registration Form to register a dog for non-breeding papers. Any litters from these dogs will not be eligible for registration with the O.E.B.K.C. Registration fee is $10 for a dog with non-breeding status.
Transfer of Ownership (Click to go to the form)
Please use the Transfer of Ownership form to officially transfer ownership of a dog with the Olde English Bulldogge Kennel Club. Processing fee for a transfer of ownership is $10.
